Acceptance

For me, scrapbooking is an art of acceptance. Accepting my own work. Accepting my own level of talent, with no comparison to others. During that creative moment, my mind is free from all worries. Free from all fears. Free from any self doubt. During that creative moment, I can do anything.

over the weekend

I had such a great weekend.
Friday started off with Ames and me having happy hour after work at Chevy's

Then, 4 of us went downtown to Beale on Broadway, one of our favorite blues bars. And of course, we had to meet and hang with the band.

Then, we headed down to The Famous Bar to play some pool. I was on FIRE!

Saturday consisted of complete laziness and watching Revenge.
Boo must have partied it up at the house Friday night while I was out, because she napped all day on the couch.

I also got my Elle's Studio package in the mail. I won a gift certificate last week and did a little shopping.

Together, we made this amazing Rotisserie Chicken Enchilada recipe. It's always been one of my faves.
(recipe in the link above). Easy to make and the instructor is hilarious! Try it out!

What did you do over the weekend?

Christmas 2012

2012 Holidays were the best I have had in years!

MOST ADORABLE BED HEAD EVER!

Hayden got a new bow and arrow from dad this year!

My cousins, uncles and me had a blast shooting up pumpkins, soda cans and flower pots! ha

you can see a video of me hitting a soda can about 50 yards away with this bad boy.. here

Then, we went inside and had a Nerdy or Nice party. It was so much fun!!!
(last year was tacky sweater party)

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year! Here is to, what I hope to be, an amazing 2013!
