Elle's Studio Sketch Challenge

I started the Hawaii 12x12 album for my friend. I decided to use Elle's Studio sketch challenge for the first page.

I used my Cameo for pretty much everything on this page. I really wanted to give it an 'old-beached Hawaii' look. I am hoping to continue that style throughout the whole album. 

and yes... I have GOT to get a better camera. I'm working on that. ;)

scientific method

We had the BEST time over Memorial Weekend.

Saturday, K and I headed to Murphey's Place in Steeleville MO. 6 of us had rented the Sassafrass cabin for the night.  It was beautiful!!!

Then, we headed to Peaceful Bend Winery to see my friends Rachel and Brad play. 

Pepe, the winery dog, LOVED to sit in chairs and listen to the music. He was so sweet! If you got up...watch out.. he would steal your chair. haha

Then, we headed back to the cabin and started grilling! Dusty made some killer burgers (with blue cheese and onions IN them) 

we ate on the patio. the view was gorgeous!

Meredith made this AMAZING dessert! (and I had to get up at 6am to eat some of it. Ross caught me. lol)

After that, it was time for more wine and getting in our outside hot tub. So much fun! 

some of the funny things (that I don't want to forget): me trying to spell Jack Nafalapulous (that's how I pronounce it any way)

Mere telling us that her beer-rita cans are good about "lanning upright up" in the hot tub water. 

Also, Mere saying something something... "scientific method". It must have been some TOP SECRET information she was sharing. too bad we couldn't understand the first part of it. LOL

Marry me, Molina

Kelly and I had such a great time watching the Cards play the Brewers Saturday night!! My boss gave me 2 Cardinals Club tickets. We headed to Beale on Broadway afterwards and accidentally partied with the enemy. Hehe

The "assets" of Milwaukee. :) :).
