HOPE EVERYONE HAD A FUN AND SAFE 4th OF JULY!!! 

future abode?

So, I have decided that I am way OVER driving 40 min (one way) on 270 every day for work. And I just plain hate 270. (they are working on widening the road...but whatevs) It's time for me to be closer to work and closer to the places I like to frequent on my free time.

I am pretty sure I have it narrowed down to these apartments. They are located on Delmar, near 170. Great location. West of the loop. I am on the outskirts of Clayton and Brentwood. A couple of miles from The Galleria. And 5mi from work.

I will have 2 bedrooms (one bedroom to use for a guestbedroom and art room). The updated units have real wood plank flooring, new appliances and countertops. I will be on the first floor, of course, for boo. They have a couple of dog parks in the complex.

I will have a dishwasher (yay! I currently don't have one). There is a gym and pool, as well.

 I can't wait to move! I will be moving at the end of next month.

Kitchen is not an open area like my current apt. however, the area under the window to the left will be perfect for a serving station or buffet. 

I think I will put my dining table like they did their demo.

I have been using my cameo alot!!

Wednesday was happy hour at Copia Wine Garden. 

I use Meaningful Beauty. Guthy-Renker started another line called Sheer Cover. They sent these VIP deals to get a starter kit for $10. I love it! It's what's on my face below.  

Friday night was so much fun. I haven't gone out on a while. It was long overdue. 

Met new friends. 

Took some fun photos. 

One of my fave STL hotspots: Moonrise rooftop lounge. 

Sat was spent being lazy and watching Mad Men. 

Right now, I need to go to sleep. Haha. Then maybe some more creativeness.  

Oh! And I plan on moving end of next month. .., closer to work. I think I have settled on which apartment.   I will try to post pics of the demo apartment tomorrow.

I survived the Cardinals game

Um .. Yeah.. If anyone heard on the news about the home (STL) game against the Diamondbacks.. Then you know it was a crazy one!

A poor old lady got line-drived into the forehead with a foul ball. She had to be wheeled out. Another foul ball by Arizona ricocheted off a bald mans head. He was ok, but it left a red mark. The fan that ended up with the ball wouldn't give it to him. Molina saw this and told the bat boy to throw the guy a ball. It was awesome. (We were sitting in sect 147 behind the Cards dugout.) all of this action happening right beside us. Arizona had foul balls going everywhere 

Ames said "I need a shirt that says 'I survived the Cardinals game'". Haha

We still had a blast and we won! Seats were good and it was absolutely gorgeous out. I took a pretty cool panoramic with my phone. Hope you enjoy the photos. :)

Molina loves me... He just won't admit it.

Elle's Studio Sketch Challenge

I started the Hawaii 12x12 album for my friend. I decided to use Elle's Studio sketch challenge for the first page.

I used my Cameo for pretty much everything on this page. I really wanted to give it an 'old-beached Hawaii' look. I am hoping to continue that style throughout the whole album. 

and yes... I have GOT to get a better camera. I'm working on that. ;)
